The Scion AV Installation space in Los Angeles teamed with Sal Barbier for the opening of BMXpert. Barbier is best known as a pro skater, but the creative director grew up in Louisiana also loving BMX bikes, so this show pays tribute to his personal history with limited edition complete bikes, limited edition frame and fork sets, T-shirts, headwear, denim and accessories that he designed.
Over 300 people came through on Saturday night to check out BMXpert, and some of the supporters included Crooks & Castles and Scion AV Installation veteran Levi Maestro. The Seoul Sausage Scion xB was there, as was a Scion Monogram Series iQ with a Floval Flyer bike attached to the top.
BMXpert will be up until October 11, 2014, and now you can come in and customize your bike setup, for purchase. Scion AV Installation is located at 7667 Melrose Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90046.
